Who we are
3DM-Vision is a trade name of 3D Mechatronics B.V., Tweelingenlaan 90, 7324 BP Apeldoorn, KvK number 85321974. We are responsible for the processing of your personal data. Questions about privacy should be sent to info@3dm-vision.nl.
If you ask us a question
Through the form on the website, by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the question you are asking about, the system it concerns, the make, model, and year of manufacture of your camper, the dealer that installed your system, and your message. We use that information to answer your question and help you with your system. We do this because you are asking us to.
Messages from the form are received in our mailbox and are also stored on the website. We keep your data for up to 2 years after the last contact.
If you are a customer
If you give us an order, we use your name, address, contact details, the details of your vehicle, the products purchased and the payments. This is how we carry out the order, provide warranty and service, and keep our records. This is necessary for the agreement and for our legal obligations. We keep these data for 7 years because the tax law requires this for our administration.
Dealers
The quote and installation of your system are arranged with a dealer. The dealer is responsible for the data you provide to the dealer. If the dealer engages us for service or warranty, we receive the data required for this from the dealer. If the dealer needs the data for your request, we provide the dealer with your name, contact details, and the details of your vehicle and system.
If you visit the website
With your consent, we measure the use of the website with Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats. For example, we see which pages are viewed and how visitors get to the website. Without consent, we do not load these services. You can adjust your choice via Cookie settings at the bottom of each page. More information can be found in our cookie policy.
Some pages contain videos from our YouTube channel. They only load when you click play; until then, your browser does not connect to YouTube.
The Dealers page contains a map of PDOK, the government's card service. Your browser retrieves the map from PDOK, and PDOK sees your IP address. If you search for a dealer by postcode or location, the search term is sent to PDOK to find the location. If you use the button for your location, your browser calculates the distance; your location is not sent to us or PDOK.
Our hosting provider keeps technical log files, including IP addresses, to secure the website and resolve any malfunctions.
With whom we share data
We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties that we need for our services:
- Oxilion (Netherlands): hosting of the website and form submissions;
- Microsoft: our email (Microsoft 365);
- SMTP2GO: sending messages from the website form to our mailbox;
- Google: Google Analytics, only with your consent, and YouTube, only when you play a video;
- Automattic (WordPress.com): Jetpack Stats, only with your consent;
- PDOK (Kadaster, Netherlands): the map and the search by postcode or location on the Dealers page;
- dealers: for service and warranty, as described above;
- our bookkeeper or accountant: for the accounts.
The parties that process data for us do so on the basis of a processor agreement. If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp will process your message in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Data outside the European Union
Google, Microsoft and Automattic are American companies; SMTP2GO is based in New Zealand. Data that leaves the European Union is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Protection
The website uses a secure connection (https). Only those who need the data for their work can access it.
Your rights
You may ask us what data we have about you, have it corrected or deleted. You can object to the use, restrict the use, or have your data transferred. You can always withdraw your consent. Send your request to info@3dm-vision.nl. We will respond within one month.
If you do not agree with the way we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
No automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you that are made solely by a computer.
Changes
We may modify this privacy statement. This version is dated October 7, 2026.
